Catering/Production Capabilities
Catering by McCormick & Schmick's is well equipped to handle an array of events ranging in size, style and venue: in 2005, we catered over 850 events and served over 100,000 guests. Our local catering facility—in the ten-year-old north wing of the Museum of Flight—encompasses 4,500 square feet of cooking prep space, refrigeration and dry storage, plus an additional 3,000 square feet of equipment storage, allowing us to handle multiple large-scale events. We own enough equipment, plates, flatware and glassware to service hors d'oeuvre receptions for up to 3,000 or sit-down meals for 700 guests. There is never an issue staffing even the most elaborate events: we have roughly 150 employees and can supplement this number with staff from our four Seattle-area restaurants.
