We strive to give back to the community through our involvement with some of Seattle's most notable fundraising events.

Cigar Bar from Museum of Flight Gala

Museum of Flight Wings of Heroes Gala
June 11, 2005

  • 1,100-guest five-course seated dinner, held in Seattle's largest constructed tent.

  • Menu highlights included passed hors d'oeuvres of mac and cheese, deviled eggs and shrimp Louie; entrée combination of grilled filet mignon with Moroccan-spiced demi-glace and caramelized Walla Walla onions, and poached lobster tail served with a brandy vin blanc; and to top off the evening, chocolate brioche bread pudding and lemon-lime soufflé.

  • After dinner concluded, guests retired to a cigar bar off the main tent decorated in a '70s retro theme.





Seattle Children's Theatre 30-Year Anniversary &
"Backstage" Silent Auction, May 2, 2005

  • 470-guest silent auction and three-course seated dinner, held in the Seattle Children's Theatre Scene Shop and Seattle Center's Fisher Pavilion.

  • Menu highlights included an entrée of baked pistachio-crusted salmon and alternating desserts of two-layer strawberry cheesecake and McCormick & Schmick's famous chocolate truffle cake.





Pacific Science Center Festival of Fountains, July 23, 2004

Action Dessert Station, Hawaiian Gold Pineapple Mai Tai

  • Pacific Science Center Festival of Fountains600-person four-course seated dinner located outside in the Pacific Science Center Pavilion.

  • Catering by McCormick & Schmick's has had the privilege of catering this event for the past four years.

  • Menu highlights included an action dessert station: Hawaiian Gold Pineapple Mai Tai: Hawaiian Gold pineapple flamed in rum, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup and fresh lime juice, served with coconut sponge cake.





Nordstrom Fashion Ovation to Benefit Seattle Repertory Theater, March 25, 2004

  • 700-guest three-course seated luncheon held at the Paramount Theater.

  • Runway fashion show featuring an exclusive sneak preview of the spring 2004 collections by various designers and Nordstrom's better sportswear departments, featuring a special appearance with InStyle Fashion Features Director Hal Rubenstein.

  • Catering by McCormick & Schmick's has had the privilege of catering this event for the past five years.

  • Menu highlights included an entrée of baked pistachio-crusted salmon served on a bed of cannellini beans and artichoke hearts.




The Warren Moon & Steve Pool Golf Classic Live Auction to Benefit Children's Hospital, July 11, 2004

  • 300-guest three-course seated dinner held at the Museum of Flight.

  • Warren Moon and Steve Pool hosted this event prior to a golf tournament the following day.

  • Catering by McCormick & Schmick's has had the privilege of catering this event for the past three years.

  • Menu highlights included a salad of arugula and escarole with heirloom tomatoes, shaved parmesan-reggiano, fresh basil, caramelized red onion with a balsamic reduction and olive oil, followed by an entrée of oven-roasted mahi-mahi with a fresh summer relish and peppercorn medallions of beef with demi-glaze, finished with a repeat of the previous year's hit dessert, warm apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.






Children's Museum, March 27, 2004

  • 150-guest heavy hors d'oeuvres reception.

  • Guests were able to travel throughout the world with these themed buffet stations.


  • Menu highlights included:

Lettuce cup filled with a variety of white fish, with lemon, onion, coconut cream, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, peppers and herbs

Sushi to Include:
Maguro, hamachi, California roll, Seattle roll and spicy tuna roll, with wasabi, soy and ginger
